The Test: Trial by Combat (her mother guided her training and studies within the Hierochthonoi; her own predilections and long-term effect of seeing her beloved father dead guided her to the Knights of Radamanthys, for whom she trained hard to join, and was let in after a long trial of multiple sorts of battle tests)

Key Event #2: Treachery (she discovered she maybe didn't endure the maddening horrors as well as she thought--a Quiet had descended and she found herself falling in love with delusional manifestations that ended with a Hobgoblin taking the shape of her jilted boyfriend she'd begun to doubt as real)
